Who We Are

Marc Gerald

Gerald started his career as an editor at True Detective Magazine, before spending four years writing/producing America’s Most Wanted. While there, he conceived and produced the show’s re-creations as well as countless TV specials for Fox Television. Gerald moved on to produce Six Ways to Sunday and Never Die Alone and to start the ABA Award-winning Old School Books, an independent line at WW Norton, and The Syndicate, a pioneering book/music company with Def Jam. He ultimately moved into representation and spent a decade heading up the publishing division of The Agency Group before the company was acquired by United Talent Agency, where he would spend two years. Gerald started Europa Content in May 2018.


Tess Callero

Tess graduated from Indiana University with a dual degree in Marketing and English. She moved to New York in 2014 to combine her love of both fields and become a literary agent. After spending four years at Curtis Brown, she moved to Europa Content in March 2019. Tess represents clients across genres and categories, from young adult and adult fiction to select nonfiction projects.


Clare Mao

Clare grew up in Queens, NY, and studied history at Grinnell College. She joined Europa Content in January 2020 after three years at Janklow & Nesbit Associates. Her clients are poets and fiction and nonfiction writers who think critically, engage thoughtfully, and have fun.


Keith O'Connell

Keith O’Connell comes to Europa from Amazon’s Audible, where since 2015 she led the team tasked with growing Audible’s global slate of originals across entertainment, literary, and theater. In her most recent role as Vice President of Original Entertainment Acquisition and Development, Keith built Audible’s content and relationships throughout the entertainment industry, via branded partnerships, global development and production deals, and IP incubation with major talent across all disciplines, including comedy, sports, self-development, lifestyle, politics and general entertainment. Keith exponentially grew Audible’s entertainment partnerships, ranging from companies such as Lorne Michaels’s Broadway Video, Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, Fox Entertainment, DC Entertainment, and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment, to deals with personalities such as Kevin Hart, Mel Robbins, Joe Biden and Dr Jill Biden, Kate McKinnon, Stan Lee, Pitbull, John Cena, Terry Crews and Rebecca King-Crews among many others. Prior to joining Audible, Keith had leading roles in management, content strategy, co-productions, distribution and acquisitions of films and series for over twenty years for entertainment brands such as EPIX, AMC Networks, and Viacom’s MTV and Nickelodeon, and launched over 20 branded platforms from basic cable, premium SVOD, and OTT subscription and transactional services globally.


Jaime Chu

Jaime studied linguistic philosophy at Sarah Lawrence College. Before Europa Content, she was an assistant at The Agency Group and United Talent Agency. She now lives in Beijing, where she works on special projects in all genres with an undeniable appeal, that either changes her world or ours.
