Brandon “Maejor” Green is a 3-time Grammy-nominated producer and singer-songwriter who is channeling his art into pop music with a purpose. Born in Detroit, he started making beats as a teenager and by his mid-20s, had appeared on and produced tracks by artists like Drake, Ne-Yo and Justin Bieber and broke into the Billboard top 20 in 2013 with his single “Lolly.”

The following year, he started experiencing excruciating pain in his arms and legs at night. As it got worse, a doctor gave him a blood test and sent him to an oncologist who told Maejor that he had leukemia. Battling fear, grief and depression while undergoing chemotherapy, he found solace in sound therapies.

Today, the motivating force behind Maejor’s art takes square aim at bringing the healing power of sound to the masses. His 2020 album, Vol 1: Frequency, made him the first notable pop star to release music at a frequency of 432Hz, reaching millions of listeners around the globe. He went on to create the acclaimed Audible series Maejor Frequency in late-2021, followed up by Psychedelic Frequency in 2023 which was named Ad Week’s “Podcast of the Year.”

He is a globally in-demand speaker, healer, educator and founder of The Frequency School. First established in 2024 at Aiglon College in Chesières, Switzerland, this pioneering initiative was designed to harness the transformative power of music for the holistic development of youth in grades 7-12, promoting the spiritual wellbeing of our next generation.
