Charlie Engelman
Charlie is the creator and face of the educational
media brand “Odd Animal Specimens”. In his popular online
videos, Charlie uses natural history museum specimens to
educate millions of viewers daily about animals.
He is also known from being the host and creator of the
Emmy-winning children’s educational television series “Weird
But True” broadcasted on National Geographic Channel, Fox,
and Disney+. Charlie was one of Time Magazines Top 100 Most Influential Creators of 2025. His first book, CHARLIE ENGELMAN’S ODD ANIMAL SPECIMENS, is forthcoming with Chronicle.
